We've had a very smooth day and have made it to Sint Niklaas without any delays! The students have been all smiles and chatting on the trains.
We were met at the station by some of the Belgian students and they brought a familiar flag!
We walked to the school and were met by the large group and began our Meet, Greet, and Eat evening.
The students had great fun getting to know each other. We played ice breaking games and tried lots of different Belgian foods.
There were lots of tasty treats and everyone found something they liked. We walked back to the hotel and checked in. Looking forward to a city tour in the morning and some sports tomorrow afternoon.
Lovely to see you are all having a wonderful time.

Matt- we had our city rally this morning and were eating chocolate before 9am!!
No bus tours (Gayle) but lots of walking in the sunshine, and now we're playing football outside. It's 17 degrees.

Does Belgium have a national dress and is the alarm call at the hotel different from last year? Freya.
Does Belgium have any myths and legends? Since Scotland has the Loch Ness Monster and America has Bigfoot and we have the Beast of Bodmin. Harry.
Maddison and Malcolm: Is Ricky saying any of his jokes?
William: Are Ricky and Jordan having any late nights?
Rachael G is missing Ricky's 2 jokes a day. Hope he's entertaining you all with his jokes.
Caroline: Is Fran's bedroom tidy?
Hi everyone in p16jl!
ReplyDeleteFreya the alarms are the same as before! Very early! The national dress is related to folk dancing. It is something you can look up!
Harry the name of the city Antwerp is related to myths and legends. You can also look up the story of SInt Niklaas.
Ricky has told a few jokes to everyone. It's been great. Ricky has been very chatty in the evenings to Jordan but everyone is getting some sleep!
Hope you're all having good week!
